It’s an interesting dilemma we face. To be happy or to potentially alienate or lose those we love? I’m sorry you’re confronted by this same problem! As a parent, I question my choices all the time. However, I deeply believe that being brave enough to live as my authentic self and expressing my continued love and support for my children will prove to be the best parenting example possible.
