I understand that some Trans woman aren’t troubled by passing. For me it was always my goal. I was out part time in the Trans community as a younger person and witnessed friends attempt full time transition and not arrive at a passing look. The results in their lives was devastating. I resolved to stay closeted as long as necessary and then make the final leap across the gender divide with extensive facial surgery. I literally saved for this for decades. During that time the world changed and the internet and social media offered people a heightened awareness of being Transgender, but it seems there is still some stigma to being caught in the middle. I always recommend getting in touch with your local Pride organization for support. They can offer counseling and guidance through the maze you find yourself in. All the best sister!
