A Trans Woman’s Value

“How did I get so lucky to meet you?” I say as I look deep into my boyfriend’s eyes. We’ve just made love and we’re laying each other’s arms in his comfortable queen bed. “It isn’t just luck.” He responds. “If you weren’t tall, blonde and gorgeous, luck wouldn’t have made a difference.”

So there it is. It really is that simple with men. Most men. Generalizations are always a dangerous invitation to trolls. But I knew what I was getting into when I transitioned, and I knew very well what was important as I entered the female arena. Make no mistake and take no prisoners. Beauty is the game and the coin of the realm. The keys to a man’s heart and castle are given to the woman who he finds sexy and pleasing to the eye. Even better if she is fun and low drama. After my life as an athletic man, there’s hardly a sport I can’t play well and drama isn’t in my vocabulary. I know how to be the woman any man would enjoy spending time with.

This isn’t rocket science and it’s not a new discovery or untested theory. If men are as honest and blunt as my boyfriend, they will tell you straight up. They want a desirable woman on their arm. I knew very shortly after my transition, that I had opened this door with the work I had done. The Ferrari and the man who drives it were possible if I played my cards right. All I had to do was to start dating until I found him.
